We first met Mabel in a desparate situation when our beloved son Daniel, age 19, went missing on July 21, 2003, in the Tantalus area. Mabel was confident, and immediately arranged a search group from the Club to go out the next day.

 

Mabel served as a tower of strength, and gave us the incentive to continue on.  I remember seeing her at the 100th anniversary of the HTMC.  She kept her youthfulness through the years.
