Hike description:Long contour trail to the Koolau summit.
A short ways in, a side trail to the right leads down to a stream & pool.
The trail ends at the junction of the Koolau Summit and Kawailoa Trails.
A nearby concrete helipad marks the top with views of both windward and leeward shores.
